Privacy policy

JF-ICT processes personal data for a clear purpose: to answer your enquiry, prepare a collaboration, secure the website and — with permission only — understand how it is used.

Who is responsible

Contact enquiries

When you use the contact form, we process the information you choose to provide: name, email address, company, project choices, timing, budget and message. We use it to answer your enquiry and, when requested, prepare a possible collaboration. The legal basis is generally taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not ask for information that is unnecessary for this first assessment.

Retention, recipients and transfers

We keep contact details for as long as needed to handle and follow up your enquiry. Information needed for a contract or legal administration is kept for the period required by applicable law. Form submissions pass through the configured hosting and form service; messages are handled through JF ICT’s business mailbox. Before launch, verify the current processor agreements, retention periods and any transfers outside the EEA for those services.

Cookies and analytics

Your cookie preference is stored locally as a strictly necessary preference for up to 180 days. Analytics cookies and Google Tag Manager/Google Analytics remain off until you give explicit permission. After permission, Google Analytics 4 cookies such as _ga and _ga_ followed by a measurement ID may be placed; the exact list, duration and recipients must match the current Google Tag Manager configuration. You can refuse or withdraw permission through Cookie settings in the footer of every page.

Your rights

You can email info@jf-ict.be to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, and you can withdraw consent where processing is based on it. We normally respond within one month. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling for contact enquiries.

Some abstract illustrations on this website were created or edited with generative AI. They are not photographs of real people, clients, locations or events. Project screenshots and the portrait of Jochen François are not AI illustrations. Published text is reviewed by JF ICT, which holds editorial responsibility.
